Meopham Valley Vineyard

The two hectare vineyard grows a substantial range of grapes and makes English White, Red, Rosé and sparkling wines.

David and Pauline Grey set up Meopham Valley Vineyard in 1991 with the advice of Gillian Pearkes, an authority on grape growing in England.

DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS 2008

Both of the Meopham Sparkling wines, 2004 and 2005 were entered in the Decanter World Wine Awards 2008 together with 9,219 wines from throughout the world. It was with great pleasure that both were awarded the Commended status.

DECANTER WORLD WINE AWARDS 2009

With even greater pleasure the 2005 Sparkling Rosé was awarded a Bronze Medal and the 2004 Sparkling was again awarded Commended status. The results will be published in the September/October 2009 issues of Decanter.
